Clear Cut did an amazing job for us, they were more than 'just a Post House' - more like partners in the process. They were involved very early in the Production and designed a bespoke storage system which we took on location to handle the masses of media our rig cameras were generating.

Clear Cut Pictures is a multi-site post-production company based in central London, that has been providing a wide range of services for the broadcast TV and film industry both in the UK and internationally since 1992.

The company has an exciting opportunity for a Sound Editor to work across our facilities.

As a Sound Editor you will report to the Head of Audio, and be a willing and supportive member of the audio team. You will help drive an excellent level of client service, and liaise effectively with all other departments – building positive and flexible relationships.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to assist in taking Clear Cut Pictures to the next chapter of its proud history.

Key Responsibilities:

· Tracklay sound effects to the provided content empathetically and in the allocated time

· Set up, record and edit VOs and ADR (locally and remotely) to a professional standard

· Create original and suitable sound design to the needs of the audio team

· Proactively contribute to the successful co-ordination of the department and wider company, whilst ensuring the most efficient use of resources and time

· Maintain equipment and ensure theatres are kept tidy and in good working order

To qualify for the position, we are looking for someone with:

· Minimum 3 years ProTools experience in a professional environment

· Proven sound design experience for non-scripted broadcast

· Excellent communication skills; comfortable working closely with colleagues and clients

· Good technical knowledge and excellent creative skills

· Punctual, flexible and proactive work ethic, a team player

The information you need to know:

· Fixed Term contract- initially September to December with possibility to extend

· 40 hours a week

· Salary commensurate with experience

· Location – any of the Clear Cut Group’s London sites
