About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Senior Edit Assistant / Technical Operator plays a key role in delivering high-standard technical services, maintaining excellent communication, and setting strong professional expectations within the team.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Conform
  • Pre-grade preparation
  • Syncing and grouping
  • Master file creation and broadcast delivery packages
  • Broadcast-standard QAR
  • Encoding and transcoding across a variety of digital formats
  • Second-line (advanced) technical support for local and remote workflows
  • Basic workflow consultation
  • Training and mentoring junior team members
  • Providing cover for Technical Supervisors when required

Essential experience includes:

  • Avid Media Composer & Symphony
  • Broadcast-standard QC/QAR

Useful additional experience:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • DaVinci Resolve

Strong time management, clear communication, and a proactive approach are key to success in this role.


Salary

The annual salary for this position will be competitive and aligned with current market rates, based on the candidate’s level of experience.
